WePlai Content Moderation Policy

At WePlai, we believe in unleashing imagination through competition—but never at the expense of safety, fairness, or community. These guidelines outline what’s allowed and what’s not on our platform.
By using WePlai, you agree to follow these rules. Failure to do so may result in content removal, disqualification from competitions, suspension, or permanent ban.
Core Moderation Principles
1. Creativity is celebrated—but within respectful, responsible boundaries.
2. Safety, integrity, and competition fairness come first.
3. Moderation is not censorship—it's curation to uphold our platform’s mission.
Prohibited Content
Hate Speech
- Slurs, threats, or dehumanization based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, or disability.
- Content that promotes violence or hatred toward any group or identity.
Sexual or NSFW Content
- Pornographic or sexually explicit content.
- AI-generated nudity, deepfake porn, or inappropriate imagery involving minors (even fictional).
- Hyper-sexualized content that doesn’t belong in the selected category.
Graphic Violence & Gore
- Real-life footage of violence, injuries, or abuse.
- Torture, excessive gore, or disturbing content.
- Glorification of violence without artistic or narrative purpose.
Note: Stylized horror and fantasy gore are allowed only in designated categories with appropriate boundaries.
Harassment & Bullying
- Targeted insults, threats, or abuse.
- Doxxing, impersonation, or public shaming.
- Repeated attempts to intimidate or provoke other users.
Misinformation & Dangerous Behavior
- Videos presenting false claims as real (e.g. fake political statements, health misinformation).
- Content promoting self-harm, suicide, drug abuse, or eating disorders.
Restricted or Sensitive Content
The following types of content may be allowed with strict limitations or category placement:
Satire & Parody - Must be clearly fictional or exaggerated
Controversial Topics - Allowed only in context of artistic or educational value
Deepfakes of Real People - Must not mislead, defame, or impersonate maliciously
Suggestive Content - Allowed only in specific categories; never explicit
Dark Humor - May be restricted if it punches down or incites hate
Encouraged Content
We actively support submissions that are:
- Bold, original, and creatively experimental
- Visually or emotionally impactful
- Funny, satirical, or imaginative
- Tribal, niche, or aligned with community style
- Competitive in spirit, artistic in execution
How Moderation Works
WePlai uses a hybrid moderation system:
1. AI filters automatically scan for explicit, harmful, or banned content.
2. Manual moderation reviews flagged or borderline content.
3. Community tools allow users to report violations directly in the app.
Moderation decisions are made at our discretion to preserve platform integrity.
Reporting & Appeals
If content is removed or flagged:
- You’ll receive a notification explaining the reason.
- You may appeal by submitting a form or contacting support.
- Our team will review and respond within 72 hours.
Three-Strike System
We operate a strict enforcement policy:
1. First offense → Warning
2. Second offense → 7-day suspension
3. Third offense → Permanent ban and disqualification from all competitions
Severe violations (e.g. hate speech, exploitation) may result in immediate permanent ban without warning.
Legal & Category-Specific Notes
- All content must comply with U.S. law, app store policies, and WePlai Terms of Service.
- Specific competition categories may have unique rules or thresholds, including gore, satire, or realism.
